What's Going On In Roselle?
Katie is the President of the Roselle Public Library District, President of Flags for Roselle, President-Elect for the Rotary Club of Bloomingdale-Roselle, Leader for Girl Scout Troop 55800, and a member of the Roselle American Legion Auxiliary. She and her husband Steve are both Lake Park graduates and they're raising their three children here in Roselle. She's active in the community, because she wants to give back in the way previous generations had done for this town.
Terrell currently serves as a Roselle Public Library District Trustee - elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. He is currently the Chair of the Bloomingdale Township Democratic Organization and Founder/Public Affairs Director of a public affairs organization.
A 23-year resident of Roselle, Terrell has been active in the community for more than a decade. He's a strong proponent of high voter turnout in local elections as it correlates to change that helps the most people. One thing he appreciates about Roselle is its vocal residents!
Nicole lives in Roselle with her husband, Ernest, and their dog, Nessie. She is the Digital Marketing Director at Tony's Fresh Market and serves with Green Roselle, the Roselle Arts & Culture Foundation, the Friends of the Roselle Public Library District, and the RSCA German Committee. She's directly supported several initiatives and events that have created a greater sense of community across Roselle.
Amanda started the local environmental group, Green Roselle. She has lived in Roselle for over 10 years with her husband Mike, a long-time resident, and their two daughters. Amanda is an active member of the community serving with multiple nonprofits, including: the Friends of the Roselle Public Library District, the Roselle Arts and Culture Foundation, the Rotary Club of Bloomingdale-Roselle, the Lake Park Educational Foundation, and the Roselle American Legion Auxiliary. She loves Roselle because of the balance it strikes between small town and suburb & old and new.
Nyla has lived in Roselle since 2000 with her spouse, Stefan. She is a member of the Friends of the Roselle Public Library, the Roselle Historical Foundation, the Roselle Garden Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Chicago Area Mensa. A former educator, she now keeps busy working on various writing and artistic projects, as well as volunteering in the community. Nyla appreciates all of the unique civic and cultural organizations that make Roselle such a vibrant and caring community, and she believes that Neighbors for a Better Roselle can support and enhance those efforts.
Mike serves as a Trustee for the Roselle Public Library District and volunteers with Flags for Roselle. A resident for over 20 years, he lives in Roselle with wife and their three children. He loves Roselle because of its small-town feel and kind neighbors. He hopes that any revitalization efforts will maintain (or improve) community engagement and togetherness.
Kory has served as a Roselle Village Trustee, Roselle Public Library District Trustee, & Finance Director for an area school district, and is currently a member of the local Republican Party and a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer for a local assessor's office. A 16-year resident of Roselle, Kory is very active in and passionate about the Roselle community. He hopes to see improvements to infrastructure and public services that will make a real impact on future generations.
